2022 marks the 13th year of this fun and festive event! Dozens of extraordinary sea glass and coastal artists skilled in a variety of mediums including sea glass, driftwood, jewelry, photography, painting, metal and wood work, ceramics and sculpture, will offer their works for sale. The festival highlights the historical origins of sea glass, and experts will be available to talk with you and help you identify the origins of your pieces.
Plan to spend the day there, and enjoy the atmosphere of our main campus, whose historic buildings will be open to the public. The complex is surrounded by shady trees and gardens, providing a beautiful backdrop for your visit. Enjoy festive live music and delicious food throughout the day.
Your admission to the festival grants access to all LHS properties and museums so while you’re here, plan to visit the historical society’s other sites, including the Ryves Holt House Gift Shop and Information Center, the Cannonball House Maritime Museum, Lewes American Lifesaving Station, the Lewes History Museum and the LHS Antique Store at the historic “Z Club” building. Ask for a location map!
Product of this event will benefit the educational and preservation programs of the Lewes Historical Society
