It was both a pleasure and an extremely stimulating effort. We teamed up with a very talented local connoisseur, Peter Caporilli, and tried to do the impossible.
We have collaborated to select the 10 best restaurants in the Atlantic City casino.
Before revealing our coveted Top 10, let me first introduce you to Peter Caporilli.

Peter has also served as a competition culinary judge on several occasions and has published extensively on a variety of food and beverage topics.
Here is our list:
1. CAPRICCIO ITALIAN RESTAURANT – HOTEL RESORTS CASINO
Let’s start with the fact that USA TODAY’s 10Best Readers’ Choice has selected Capriccio as the #1 Casino Restaurant in America… for the past two years and three of the past four years.
Plus, Cappriccio reminds you of Atlantic City’s long culinary tradition that began over 40 years ago with the opening of the Resorts Casino Hotel.
Italian creations, especially the long preparation processes of dishes like Osso Bucco, are authentic in their essence.

2. BETTY’S BACK ROOM – CAESAR HOTEL AND CASINO
Caporilli believes that Betty’s has the best chefs working in Atlantic City today…with Betty being the best front desk person in the business, according to Caporilli.
3. IL MULINO – HARD ROCK CASINO HOTEL
Caporilli says Il Mulino is the most elegant casino restaurant, perhaps the most elegant period, with incredible pasta, fish and impeccable service.
4. VIC & ANTHONY’S – GOLDEN NUGGET HOTEL & CASINO
Vic & Anthony’s is reinventing the steak dinner. With an exceptional commitment to good wine and the most important general manager in town, drop everything and go for it tonight.
5. IL VERDE – TROPICANA CASINO RESORT
If Tropicana Executive Chef Demetrios Haronis gets his hands on it, it will be creative, fresh, well-run and beyond expectation. Ask them to bring out whatever they suggest and then prepare to be blown away.
6. THE PALM RESTAURANT – TROPICANA CASINO RESORT – THE NEIGHBORHOOD
At the Palm, you’re family without the “irritating drunken uncle.” The perfect blend of premium steaks and chops and old-world Italian fare. Caporilli ate clams and spaghetti on Monday night and said it was better than his mother’s.
7. AMADA – CASINO OCEAN RESORT
Caporilli, and, for that matter, most of us love food that has an abundance of flavor. That’s why Caporilli likes to go to Amada. Small plates allow you to try everything on the menu.
8. KURO – HARD ROCK HOTEL AND CASINO
For some, it’s an acquired taste. When you want to eat ridiculously beautiful and delicious sushi…don’t walk, run to Kuro. The room is beautiful and will remind you of Tao in New York.
9. GORDON RAMSEY STEAK – HARRAH HOTEL & CASINO
The Gordon Ramsey Steak at Harrah’s is so good from start to finish, you’ll feel like there should be several intermissions to properly enjoy and digest this unparalleled cuisine. Save room for dessert and the gorgeous caramel pudding.
10. IZAKAYA – BORGATA CASINO RESORT & SPA
Finally, to complete our coveted Top 10… it’s Izakaya. Caporilli describes it as the best date restaurant in town. There is a lot of anonymity with sublime sushi. Ask for the best wine list and accompany it with a Billecart-Salmon champagne.
We hope you enjoyed our Top 10 Best Casino Restaurants in Atlantic City.
We recognize that our selection efforts are subjective and your favorite restaurant may not have made our list.
Atlantic City’s casino industry is synonymous with fine dining accommodations.
Enjoy your meal.
